The small print
Accessibility
Last reviewed: May 24, 2026.
TURN commits to meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA across every page on sfturn.org. The Operating Edition is built for second-act founders, including those who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as a baseline, not a feature.
What we do
- Colour contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA on every text element.
- The site works without a mouse. Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, with visible focus styles.
- We honour reduced-motion preferences. Animations stop when your operating system asks them to.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text where they convey information; they are marked decorative where they do not.
- Headings are nested properly so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Forms have labels, error states, and clear, plain-English instructions.
- Pages are tested with axe-core on every build and audited by Lighthouse for accessibility, performance, and best practices.
Known limitations
We are a small Society and we ship in the open. If you find a barrier, please tell us; it goes to the top of the list. Current known items will be listed here as they surface, with a date and a target fix window.
No known issues as of May 24, 2026.
Report a problem
Email [email protected] with the page URL and a short description of the barrier you hit. We reply within one business day and aim to fix anything blocking within five.
