Why we are launching TURN with a Claude workshop
May 24, 2026 · Anu Jolliffe · 4 min
The 30-Day Bootcamp opens in July 2026. It is the centre of everything TURN does, the program we have been building toward, the reason the Society exists. So why is the first thing we are doing publicly a one-day workshop on working with Claude, hosted by Antfluent, in Toronto on May 27?
Because the bootcamp will install ten artefacts on Day 30, and one of them is a working AI workflow running on the founder's machine. We can teach that in thirty days. Or we can teach a slice of it in one day, in person, with the person who launched Claude for enterprise at AWS, alongside the kind of mid-career professionals we built TURN for. Both are useful. The second is faster, and it gives the people thinking about TURN a way to spend one day with us before committing to thirty.
The audience is the same audience
Antfluent's workshop is for knowledge workers in operations, finance, marketing, sales, product, HR. The TURN persona is ex-corporate, mid-career, with a decade of judgement and a runway. Same demographic. Same Gen X comfort with technology that needs to do real work instead of demos. The workshop is not a funnel. It is a Tuesday in May where the people we are building for can get something real done together.
Featuring is a brand decision
We could have built our own AI workshop. We chose not to. Antfluent already runs one of the best in Canada, taught by Gabriel Velazquez, who launched Claude for Enterprise, Education, Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Claude Code at AWS. Hiring him to teach TURN's curriculum would have cost more than featuring his workshop and shipped slower than May. The Operating Edition publishes the manual; it does not pretend to be the only voice in the room.
What you read here is what you read everywhere
The Operating Edition documents itself in public. The Bootcamp opens in July. The Foundation Camp follows. Clinics come after that. Each one will get a page on this site with the same clarity the workshop page has: what is on the day, who teaches it, what you walk out with, how to apply.
If you read documentation before you commit, you are the audience for TURN. Read the workshop page. Subscribe to The TURN Signal. Then decide whether you want to spend a Tuesday with us in Toronto, June 16 in Victoria, or July in your first bootcamp cohort.
